Creating a Magnetosphere Marketing Strategy

Working with coLiberate Ventures proved to be a rewarding challenge for the business. Starting now, Wa’am Writes now offers a 15-week program for LGBTQ-owned (and allied) businesses to increase referrals and sales by strategically generating testimonials and developing a mission-aligned content marketing strategy. I call it: Mission Magnetosphere.

In a metaphorical sense, you could think of an LGBTQ-inclusive marketing strategy as creating a protective "magnetosphere" around your company that deflects challenges and attracts mission-aligned opportunities.

Subscriptions for Solo Entrepreneurs

A Room of One’s Own Hosts, August 6th @ 6

For those who missed out on my book launch party on June 14th, join me at Madison’s favorite local, independent, feminist bookstore, A Room of One’s Own, on Atwood Avenue, August 6th at 6 PM. We’ll have an interactive book reading, Q&A, and of course, book signing until 7:30 PM.

My mission at this event is to hear more confessions from Licensed to Sell readers, match the book sales I had on June 14th, and make more friends in our rainbow community. This crazy little beast of a book is not one to sit quietly on a dusty closeted shelf!

Door County Author & Book Fair, July 20th

Confession: I was born and raised in Door County, WI, the La La Land in between the grand waters of Lake Michigan and Green Bay. Because of this tie to the beautiful peninsula and my debut novel, Write On, Door County invited me to participate in their Door County Author & Book Fair.

Find my tent amongst dozens of others. Talk to authors about their creative process, buy books and get them signed, and enjoy the bay breeze. More importantly, let’s celebrate more of my book’s success! Hug you soon!

Licensed to Sell Selling Like Slapjacks

The book launch party was a huge success! About 40 people showed up, and I sold 18 books just that night alone. Take that, inner critic who thought only 5 people would arrive! I’m still in awe.

Everyone had fun and there was so much laughter we burned off all the snacks and delicious tres leches cake.

Thank you for all of the book and business love! This year‘s success shows me more than ever that my theories hold true: people make the world ‘round. And it takes all kinds of loving, supportive, good people with beautiful hearts.

That’s why I’ve been turning up the pilot light on this program to help other businesses take a good look at their relationship solar system, as I call it. Some people may have drifted out of orbit that you need to bring in close, others might be toxic and need a gentle push to a galaxy far, far away.

If this book launch party was any indication of the health of my solar system, it’s brilliant with many stars, colorful planets, and magnetic moons. And I am so tickled with gratitude.
